About

Oval 01You’re here because you are interested in learning more about social media but in a soul enriching environment like hidden Bali. Or you want a week away, a holiday but you can’t justify just taking week off. Or you need to learn about Facebook and Twitter and whatnot but you really NEED a healthy kick of gentle exercise, mind expanding experiences and good food. I’ve put this together for me, and hopefully it suits you too!

If you are looking for a 3 or 4 day conference in Sydney or Melbourne this probably isn’t for you. Lots of speakers spruiking their wares, with case studies and so on, is fine, but this is an intensive social media workshop where you will learn, explore and practically implement (bring your laptop/iPad!) social media such as

  • monitoring Dashboards,
  • blogs and social media press rooms,
  • Facebook analytics and Ads
  • Key Influencer strategies for Blogger Outreach
  • Measurement tools for  #hashtags and so on

The problem of course with social media is that it sucks in time (The Attention Economy costs Time as Earned Attention takes energy rather than Dollars (Bought Attention). So we look at time management tools and set them up properly, whether it’s Hootsuite  or a full social media monitoring dashboard.

For people who are running a business and/or doing marketing sitting at the computer day in and day out is too much. Combine the intensive social media education with yoga and temples, with organic food and healthy weeks. To finally take a week off and learn and enjoy and grow. This workshop is not for everyone, but if it appeals to you, let me know.

Vision

Hi my name is Laurel and #eatpraytweet is my way of bringing a week of social media, yoga and temples, pampering and organic food to 12 journeying souls. We stay in luxurious Balinese villas, dine on exquisite Western and Indonesia cuisine with ingredients from the retreats organic garden and study intensive social media workshops on engagement, building community and social media strategy in between yoga classes and visiting volcanoes and temples and artisan studios. Fiona will take you through morning and afternoon wellbeing sessions that are a mix of core strengthening, yoga and pilates. Enormous fun! And educational! Please click through this site and the booking page EatPrayTweet.eventbrite.com and if you have any questions, please email my assistant on pa@laurelpapworth.com (I’m often in workshops teaching at the University of Sydney or corporate workshops, so it’s easier to go through Team Laurel :))
